The Return to Freddy's 2 VR
A downloadable game for Windows and Android
Note: this game has only been tested with a Quest 3.
Warning
some scenes in this game may be disorienting to some players (such as: The intro cutscene, the cutscenes after nights 2, 3, and 4, the night 6 ending, and game over screen.) Remove the 3 translational movement degree of freedom. (meaning that you can turn and look but not move your head)
This game is available on Side Quest (Recommend quest players to download from there)
Requirements
- A VR headset with at least 2 controllers.
- Controller tracking.
- Minimum System Requirements (Quest)
- This game was made with a Quest 3 and not tested with any other VR headset, so I'm sure if it will fully work with the Quest 2 or Qeust 1.
- 1GB+ of storage available.
- Minimum System Requirements (PCVR):
- Windows 8
- 1GB+ Storage
- 8GB DDR4
- Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 3 1500X
- NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6GB) / AMD Radeon RX 480
What is this?
A remake/recreation of The Return to Freddy's 2, but in VR.
Because I'm not good at modeling animatronics, and I wanted to keep the unmistakable 'style' of TRTF 2, The 3D models will be relatively consistent with the original game.
What's changed?
No major changes to the game's story or mechanics as I wanted this to be a (mostly) faithful remake to the original TRTF 2, while changing somethings to fit the new VR aspect of the game.
Foxy, Kitty, Dug, and Puppet can now be seen on their starting cameras.
The camera positions are changed.
Due to a slip-up, I made, Party Room 1 and Party Room 2 have been switched.
All animatronics walk to every camera (IN REAL TIME)
The AI paths of the animatronics have been slightly changed to fit with the VR Gameplay.
No unfair deaths like in the original.
Toxicity no longer has a meter and is instead an effect that gradually increases.
The Toxicity rises slower than in the original game.
There are 3 different jumpscare styles,
1: Help wanted style, The jumpscares are just like the ones in FNaF Help Wanted. This is recommended for most players and can be a little disorienting to some players. (This is on by default in the VR version)
2: Cheap style, the jumpscares have the same animation has the Help Wanted style except that the background does not turn black, meaning that you could "Hide" from the jumpscare by looking at a wall or covering your face and the animatronics' model clips though objects in the office. This one is the least disorienting and is recommended for players that easily get disoriented.
3: Forceful style, this style is the one shown in the videos on the game page. instead of appearing in front of the camera, it forces the camera to look at the jumpscare. This can be very disorienting to most players and is not recommended for players that easily get motion sickness in VR. But can be the most immersive. (This is on by default in the Flat version)
AI Changes
Freddy: Has the same path as in the original game.
Bonnie: Goes to the east hall and enters from the left hallway instead of the middle hallway.
Chica: Works mostly the same as in the original game but enters from the right hallway instead of the middle hallway.
Foxy: Works mostly the same as in the original game but enters from the left hallway instead of the middle hallway. You need to Hold your flashlight on him for him to scurry off.
Sugar: Works mostly the same as in the original game but enters from the right hallway instead of the middle hallway. He will now peak out of the vent which is when you need to put on the mask for him again.
Kitty Faz Cat: Works mostly the same as in the original game but enters from the right hallway instead of the middle hallway. She will now peak out of the vent which is when you need to put on the mask for her again.
Dug: Works mostly the same as in the original game but takes fewer sound presses for him to go away and he only will kill you when he is in your office hall instead of the party room.
Golden Freddy: Works entirely the same as in the original game. But can be seen in parts and service as stated on night 3
Shadow Lockjaw: Works entirely the same as in the original game.
Puppet: Works entirely the same as in the original game.
Known Bugs:
- Broken Inputs on devices other than Meta Qeust devices

Other Notes
- A majority of sound effects from this game are ripped straight from the original TRTF 2.
- While I'd love to see a TRTF 3 VR, I probably won't make one due to past incidents with making sequels to games. But If I do end up making one, the game probably won't be announced until the game is like 70% finished.

I don't see the game on sidequest and opening the link takes me to "nothing found"
Sorry about that, I forgot to click publish on side quest. Now the game can be downloaded from there
